We have a reservation for the California Grill at 9:20. We are afraid that is too late for the kids to eat dinner. Is it ok to just have dessert and watch the fireworks?

    Hi Emmy,

No problem. You don't have to eat a full meal at any of the Disney restaurants. You're welcome to have just part of meal such as just appetizers or just dessert and drinks.

If you want to do this and you're on the Disney Dining Plan, you should be sure NOT to use your Dining Plan Credits to pay for dessert only. This would be the equivalent of you paying at least quadruple what you should. Go ahead and pay out of pocket and you'll be fine.

    Enjoy the view!
