Hi Angela,
I love a good buffet or family-style meal at Disney World. The idea of paying one fee and having it include as much as I want to eat and drink is always a fun and appealing way to splurge. When dining at Disney World if a meal has a set price, a drink will typically be included in the flat fee.
The Crystal Palace is a buffet-style meal with a set price that includes the entire buffet offering and non-alcoholic drinks like tea, soda, or coffee. This meal is so fun because you also get to meet your favorite friends from the Hundred Acre Woods like Winnie the Pooh and Tigger! I love to make an early morning reservation for breakfast at this restaurant especially if I can get one that begins before the Magic Kingdom opens for the day. The best part of one of these early morning reservations is that sometimes you can grab a picture in front of Cinderella Castle before anyone else is in the theme parks.
Tusker House is also a character dining experience with a fabulous buffet! There is an impressive array of unique African eats, traditional foods for the pickier eaters, and even spit-roasted meats that they carve right in front of you. Standard drinks like soda and tea are included in the set price for this meal but mocktails and specialty drinks like lemonade will be an additional charge. You will also get to take photos with classic Disney characters like Donald Duck in their safari-inspired outfits.
If you have not already looked at the
Garden Grill as an option, I would check it out as well. The food here comes straight from the EPCOT Land Pavilion which is a fun little detail that makes it extra delicious! You will also get to dine family-style which I sometimes prefer to a buffet because it is served at your table but still includes unlimited seconds. Standard beverages are also included in the flat fee for this restaurant as well as fun interactions with characters like Chip and Dale. If that was not enough to entice you, this restaurant also rotates while you dine with views of the Living With the Land ride!
Happy Planning,
Jenna
