I have a reservation for Boma but I am not staying at a Disney Resort and will not have a park ticket for that day. Where should I park my car to go to my reservation at Boma?

    Hi there, Ana,

Welcome to planDisney, where we like to say Hakuna Matata! It’s our problem-free philosophy while we help other Guests with their vacation planning questions.

Ana, you are going to love dining at Boma – Flavors of Africa. It is a most excellent choice and I’m glad you were able to secure an advanced dining reservation because it is very popular. One of the great things about dining at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel is that you do not need to be an overnight Guest to do so. And you don’t need a theme park ticket to dine there because Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is not actually a part of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, though they share some of the same amazing views! With a dining reservation, when you arrive at the security gate at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, just provide the Cast Member with your name and they will confirm that you have a dining reservation and let you know where you should park. Hakuna Matata, no worries!

Make sure to spend some time either before or after your meal to soak in the sights and sounds of the Arusha Savanna Overlook (near the main lobby). Cast Member Animal Specialists are usually nearby and have so many interesting facts to share about the animals you might see while you are there. You never know what you might learn!

I hope you have a roaring good time at Boma – Flavors of Africa, Ana, and that you stop by planDisney again with any questions you may have.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
