We have a reservation at BOG for 8:15, MK opens at 9:00. We are staying at CSR, no car. Is it possible to get a bus that leaves more than an hour before park opens, or should we take a taxi? And how long is it to walk to BOG from the main gates? Thx

    Hi Andrew!

It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that I welcome you back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Starting your day with breakfast at Be Our Guest Restaurant sounds tres bien.

The fastest way to get to Magic Kingdom for your breakfast reservation would be to take a cab.  From Disney's Coronado Springs Resort would take only about 10 minutes, and would offer you a few more minutes of sleep that morning.  It's been my experience that most cab rides on Walt Disney World property cost less than $20, including tip.  However, if that's not in the vacation budget, there is another great (and complimentary) option.  There are generally buses that run in the morning (before the park buses begin operating and usually as early as 6:30 a.m.) that are specifically for Guests with those early breakfast reservations.  Informally, these are often called "breakfast buses" and a Cast Member at the front desk of your hotel can to tell you exactly when and where you can catch that for that morning's reservation.  I'd recommend checking on those details a day or two before your reservation, or at check-in.

Once you're through the gates at Magic Kingdom, it's just a short walk down Main Street, U.S.A., through Cinderella Castle and back into Fantasyland to Be Our Guest Restaurant.  I'd estimate the distance to be about a third of a mile and it should take you less than 10 minutes.

Bon appetit, Andrew!  Have a magical vacation!
