Welcome to planDisney, Paige, or as they say in Germany, "Willkommen!" Thanks for stopping by as you prepare for your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Let's talk about dining with "die kinder" when you visit.
I'll always get emotional when I see Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park, but
EPCOT has
almost become my favorite lately. The
festivals, the attractions, the World Showcase...it's the best! Your family is going to have a "wunderbar" time!
It's been a minute since my son was young, but if I'm being candid, he's still picky about what he eats. And while the buffet at
Biergarten Restaurant might look adventurous at first glance, I think your little one might have some viable options to keep them happy. And the music and entertainment might make them more open to try new dishes!
My pal
Amy A. visited with her son recently, and she said the buffet offered a few kid-friendly classics like macaroni and cheese, peas and carrots, applesauce, and pretzel rolls. She added that the schnitzel was a lot like oversized chicken fingers! When you arrive, you can also talk to your server about any food preferences or sensitivities; they might have suggestions.
Remember that dishes are always subject to change depending on ingredient availability, and I always found that bringing along a snack is a good plan B. I can't tell you how many peanut butter and jelly sandwiches I made for those theme park days when my son was little!
My final tip is to save room for my all-time favorite sweet treat: Werther's Original Caramel Gingerbread. You can
mobile order this seasonal stuffed cookie from
Karamell-Küche, then head to the cash register to pick up your delectable dessert. With hints of ginger, cinnamon, and a drizzle of creamy caramel, it's the perfect shareable fall delicacy.
Paige, I'm wishing on a star that you and your family make some magical memories to treasure. Please
stop by planDisney anytime! Auf wiedersehen!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
