We have a reservation at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for 8:45 am. The Magic Kingdom opens at 9:00 am that day with no Extra Magic Hours. How do we get past the "rope drop" crowd and find our way into the park in time for our appointment?

Hi there, Melinda! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for reaching out and allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

You and your family are in for a royal treat! Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique - Magic Kingdom is a beauty salon that offers magical makeovers for young Guests between the ages of three to twelve years. These incredibly popular experiences transform your little ones into beautiful Princesses or brave Knights! A Fairy Godmother-in-Training will provide a custom hairstyle, shimmering face makeup, nail polish, and a princess sash to prepare them for their magical day at Walt Disney World Resort!

Fortunately, Guests with reservations prior to normal operating hours are able to enter into Magic Kingdom before the official park opening. My family and I have done this on numerous occasions and love an early look at the park before it officially opens! So, even though Magic Kingdom does not appear to have Extra Magic Hours that morning, you and your family will still be able to enter the park to make it to your Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique - Magic Kingdom appointment. Just be sure to keep an eye out for the Cast Member holding a sign that reads “Reservations”. Once you find this individual, you will be able to scan your MagicBand to verify your appointment and can then head over to your magical experience!

I hope this provides a bit more information for your upcoming vacation! Be sure to let us know if we can help you with planning any other part of your trip!
