We have a reservation for AOA (can't wait for DD to see the room!) and I'm concerned about travel time to and from parks. For instance, we have a reservation for CRT in MK at 8:00 am - what is a reasonable time to leave to be sure we are on time?

    Hello Zola,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  It sounds like you have an amazing trip planned for your family!  I'm pretty sure your daughter (and everyone else) is going to absolutely LOVE Disney's Art of Animation Resort!

No need to be concerned about transportation or travel time.  Disney has a great system in place and it couldn't be easier.  To get from Disney's Art of Animation Resort to Magic Kingdom for your breakfast reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table, you'll just need to hop on one of the complimentary buses that depart from your hotel.  At Art of Animation, those are located along the front wall of Animation Hall.  There is a bus stop for each of the parks, so just look for the one heading to Magic Kingdom.  Those buses run every 20 minutes or so.  While Disney recommends allowing 90 minutes for travel time if you're using their transportation, I think an hour would be sufficient since you're just taking the bus straight to the park that morning.

Since you don't mention the date of your breakfast reservation, I'm not sure what time Magic Kingdom will open that morning, but keep in mind that the park buses start running 45 minutes to an hour before opening time.  If that time is a little later than you'd like to depart, morning "breakfast buses" run even earlier.  You can ask a Cast Member at the front desk at your hotel for more information on when and where to catch one of those.

I hope that helps, Zola, but please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Have a MAGICAL vacation!
