Hi Alex! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
When you purchase your
admission tickets directly from Disneyland Resort, you select the dates of your visit and your preferred park. This is your
theme park reservation! You can always double-check your existing reservations by navigating the Disneyland Resort's website, hovering over "My Disneyland," and selecting "Ticket and Reservation Details." Scroll down to the "Make or Modify Park Reservations." By clicking this button, you'll be taken to a page, which includes all your confirmed park reservations. You can modify those reservations from that page if you need to change the day you plan to visit.
If you bought your tickets through an outside source, you should link the tickets and make your reservations as soon as possible. Theme park reservations do fill up, especially at popular times of the year. To link your ticket, hover over "My Disneyland" and select "Link Tickets." You'll be asked to enter your ticket ID number. If you have multiple tickets, you can add multiple numbers. After your tickets are linked, head back to "Ticket and Reservation Details." You'll want to "Make or Modify Park Reservations" again. Click "Book Theme Park Reservation" to begin the selection process. If you have a
Park Hopper, you'll be selecting the park you want to start your day in on your preferred date.
A handy tool for checking for available theme park reservations is the
theme park availability calendar. This calendar will show you if a day is full or if one or both parks are still available for reservations. If you don't yet have a reservation and availability is no longer available for your preferred date or park, keep checking. Guests' plans change, and when they do, last-minute availability can pop up! Keep persistently checking. But hopefully, you already have a theme park reservation and are ready to enjoy a day of magic!
Last-minute
dining reservations are also sometimes available. If you'd like to enjoy a table service meal, keep checking the dining reservation availability. Or join the "Walk-Up List" at available dining locations. You can find these by selecting dining on the
Disneyland mobile app.
You won't need a dining reservation to check out the
Lunar New Year celebration festive choices in Disney California Adventure during your visit. Not only are there festive beverages and food to indulge in, but you'll also find fun activities and entertainment to enjoy.
Have a magical time!
Elizabeth
