Hi Jessica! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.
I hope you've enjoyed your year of magic! I became a
Magic Key holder last year for the first time, and I love the great
discounts and special perks. Are you following the official
Disneyland Magic Key blog? It is really useful resource for Magic Key holders.
If you're within the 30-day renewal window leading up to your Magic Key's expiration date, you can
renew online if that's easier. That way, you'll know you've secured your
theme park reservation in advance of arriving at the parks and avoid the possibility of not being able to enter due to reservations being full, which can happen at popular times of the year. But if you prefer to renew in person at the main ticket booth by the entrance, a helpful Cast Member can assist you, and after your renewal is complete, you can enter the parks, so long as you make a theme park reservation. Reservations are subject to availability. Just be sure you have your method of payment with you and a valid government-issued photo ID if your Magic Key requires proof of residence in its terms. Prices and terms are subject to change.
Rather than head to the parks to renew in person and count on entering the parks on a day that's already full, I'd suggest checking the
theme park reservation availability calendar. While availability can change quickly, it will give you a better idea of whether you can pin your hopes on a magical day exploring the parks.
I hope this helps!
