Hi there, Brett! Thanks for bringing your great question to planDisney.
It looks like you're making plans to visit
The Most Magical Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of year! Between the seasonal sweets and the hint of the holidays in the air, I couldn't be more excited for you. Did you know that there are two special events this winter season? It's true! Don't forget to check out
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom Park and the all-new
Disney Jollywood Nights in Disney's Hollywood Studios!
Brett, I think it's a great idea to get all of your Donald Ducks in a row and share planning with the other Guests in your travel party. I know that your relative's email has since changed since your first invite, but let's take a few steps to make sure that the second invite can be sent correctly! First, you'll want to find out if your relative has already made a
My Disney Experience account. If they have, you'll want to use the email address associated with the account they've already made, since making multiple My Disney Experience accounts is not recommended. If this is the case, they'll want to log into their account with their original email address, hover their mouse over the My Disney Experience tab, and click Profile. Here, click Account Settings, then edit the email address. Once they've updated their email address on their end, you can share planning with them at this new email address!
However, if they don't currently have a My Disney Experience account and you're sending them an initial invitation to share planning, log into your own account and head to
My Family & Friends. Next to the name of your relative, click "Update," then "Share Planning with..." Enter the desired email address, which they will then accept to be able to share and comanage their plans! Of course, if you have any problems with the above steps, you can always
reach out to a friendly Cast Member. They'll be happy to take a look at your reservations and help you with your next steps! My best tip would be to have as much information as possible, including reservation numbers and your relative's information, to make this process as easy and efficient as possible.
Before you arrive, be sure that you've also made your
theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system! This is an important step to reserve the parks you'd like to visit on each day of your trip (
until January 9, 2024). You might also want to take some time to download and explore the
My Disney Experience app, where you'll be able to
mobile order food, check wait times for attractions, and access
virtual queues during your trip!
If you have any other questions, please write to us again!
Wishing you the very merriest,
Michelle
