    When  researching best way to get from Coronado Springs to Downtown Disney, they suggest Coronado to Boardwalk Inn to Downtown. Is there not a direct bus from resort to downtown?

    There is bus service from all of the WDW resorts, including Coronado Springs, to Downtown Disney. You'll be able to get a direct bus from your hotel to DD. I don't know what you've been reading, but I can tell you that there's no need to make an intermediate stop.
