Hello, Paulette! Thank you for returning to planDisney with your questions. I’m happy to see you again.
You are speaking my language of love – soda. I don’t drink coffee, so having my favorite carbonated beverage is important to me. You are allowed to bring
canned or bottled soda with you aboard the ship. You are only limited by how many you can fit in your carry-on luggage.
To ensure a smooth embarkation process, Disney recommends that your day bag should not exceed 9" x 14" x 22" to effortlessly pass through the security scanners. However, do keep in mind that soda can be quite heavy, and your stateroom might not be available immediately upon boarding. To ease the load, I recommend opting for a bag with wheels to navigate the ship comfortably.
Soft drinks are available free of charge in dining rooms and at the self-serve beverage station located conveniently by the pools. There is only a charge if you order soda from room service, the theatre, or one of the bars or lounges. I have to say, though, that the fountain Coke is my favorite. I have come to look forward to an ice-cold Coke instead of my usual Dr. Pepper. Lately, I’ve been ordering a Coke with grenadine in the dining rooms for a custom cherry Coke.
I hope you drink in all the fun, Paulette! The Disney Magic is my favorite ship, and I'm sure you'll love it too. While onboard, don't miss out on the exhilarating
AquaDunk for a splashing good time. The lines are typically shorter on embarkation day, so it's the perfect opportunity to dive right into the excitement!
SEAS the adventure!
