Hello, we have a res for the Tomorrow Terrace Dessert Party for 8:10. What time should we check in for it? We are staying at the Fort Wild Cabins. If the park closes right after the fireworks, how long is the wait for the boat back to the campgrounds?

    Hi Sandra!
Congratulations on booking the Wishes Fireworks Desert Party at the Tomorrowland Terrace.  This is a most popular event at Magic Kingdom, and reservations are always a bit tough to come by, so kuddos for you!
Once Wishes Nighttime Spectacular is completed, guests are free to leave the park at their leisure.  Most guests will make a bee line for the exits, and you will find massive gridlock and bottlenecking when exiting the parks.  You can head directly to the boat launch for the boat back to Fort Wilderness, and your wait will most likely be anywhere from 20 minutes to 45 minutes, depending on the crowd levels, and those waiting prior to you.
Always bear in mind that when traveling anywhere in the Walt Disney World complex, that you budget 45 minutes to one hour prior to any reservation, or catching a bus/ferry/monorail back to your resort.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
