We have res. for storybook breakfast (g-daughters so-o excited) when I made res was asked if I have dining plan. I do. Does that mean those meals have already been deducted from dining plan or can we pay for some in our party another way (ie cash)?

I have a house full of girls and we LOVE those princess meals!

Nothing is deducted from your dining plan credits until you are actually in the restaurant paying for your meal. You, and any members of your dining party, may choose whatever form of payment you want. Some people can pay with dining credits, while others pay with cash (or credit cards, or travelers checks, or Disney gift cards, etc.) Even if you are on the dining plan, you can choose to pay cash for your meal if that makes more sense for a particular dining experience.

My only advice would be that it is courteous to tell your server at the beginning of the meal who will be paying with the dining plan and who will not. This just makes the billing at the end less complicated for the server.

Have a wonderful trip to WDW!
