Have res. for MM BBQ. Any suggestions on a good way to kill time between when it's over & when electric water parade starts? I'd like to watch from Polynesian (the hammocks are perfect) Doesn't even have to be at Ft. W, but any of the lagoon resorts.

    Erin,

So the first think you have to remember is that when your dinner at the Mickey's Backyard Barbeque is over, there are a LOT of people all looking for transportation to wherever they are going next. So if you are going to watch from the Polynesian, I would make your first order of business getting over there! The line for the boats will be VERY long.

I would assume that if your dinner ends at 8 pm, you could find that you need the full hour to get to the Polynesian before the start of the parade. But assuming you get faster travel times, what I would do is get there, and take in all the theming. Go by Captain Cook's and get a dole whip for everyone to enjoy during the parade. Head down and camp out for your show spot, since the beach and other viewing areas get filled up early, even in the slower times of the year.

I hope that this helps? We did the same thing two years ago, and it made for a pretty great evening!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
