What will be required to provide proof of CA resident? Does all of the party have to make separate reservations or just the 1 buying tickets? I'm going with my cousin who lives here but still has an IL driver's license, will a piece of mail work?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, you’re as welcome as can be at planDisney Kenzie!

Thanks for bringing your question our way.

I was elated to hEAR The Happiest Place on Earth will be starting to welcome back Guests very soon! This is how Cinderella must have felt when she was finally going to the ball!

Kenzie, because the attendance will be limited to the residents of California, at this time only Guests who reside in the state of California can make their Theme Park Pass reservations. This will be done through each Guest’s My Disney Experience account which should be linked to their home address. Unless your cousin’s address shows a California address, you may not be able to make a reservation for them. Guests will also be asked to confirm that they are living in the state of California while making Theme Park reservations and may be asked to show proof of residency at the entrance. As of now, groups of no larger than 3 households may make Theme Park reservations.

I would encourage you to keep an eye out on the Disney Parks Blog as well as the Disneyland Resort website as they will be the first to announce the latest updates.

We can’t wait to welcome you back to the magic, Kenzie!
