Is the required ID for residency still in place even if we are fully vaccinated? Or if everyone is fully vaccinated can we show the vaccine card to get in? Thank you!

    Hi Faith,

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney! I hope you're having fun dreaming some Disney dreams, and I bet you're looking forward to being at Disneyland Resort where dreams really do come true!

At this point in the phased reopening, only California Residents will be permitted to enter Disneyland Resort theme parks; no exceptions will be made based on vaccination status. The system will not allow Guests to complete the ticketing and park reservation process without a valid California address on file, and yes, identification may be checked at the gate. If you have some Mouseketeers in your party who are not California residents, you'll need to wait a bit longer until you can all visit together. While we don't know yet when the residency restriction will be dropped, I'd encourage you to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog or Disney's social media channels for announcements and updates, although I'm pretty sure you'll hear squeals of joy from lots of Guests in other locations who are chomping at the bit to soak up the magic and fun!

I'm so glad you came to see us, Faith, and please feel free to visit us at planDisney any time you have a Disney-planning question or need some advice about some aspect of your visit. I'm sending pixie dust that all of your Disney dreams will come true soon!
