Requested a king size bed room at AKL which i know is only a request. Should I book a studio room just to be safe so the 3 y/o has room to run around and if so do you rather jambo or kidani. Do you know how many poolview king bed rooms at AKL?

    Hi Carol!

It sounds like you are planning a fun trip! The Animal Kingdom Lodge - both Jambo House and Kidani - are incredibly beautiful and unique. You may just feel like you've been transported to Africa instead of Florida!

Personally, given the choice, I think I would keep a regular room at Jambo house over a studio at either location. If you're looking for additional square footage, you'll find that the studios at Jambo house may be smaller than some of the standard rooms since they measure between 316 and 366 sq ft.  Kidani studios have 366 sq ft. I don't know if the up to 22 additional square feet are enough to worry about changing your current reservation.

I do know that there are 136 pool view rooms at Jambo house and 79 King bed rooms. Unfortunately I don't know how many overlap (pool view AND king beds).

    Hope this helps!
