    Can you request a showtime for your Festival of the Lion King dining package? In our case, we are hoping to have dinner at Tiffins around 5:30, but go to the 10:00 AM showing.

    Hello, Shelby! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm glad you're considering treating yourself to Festival of the Lion King Signature Dining Package. If you're looking for prime seating and a delicious meal, I don't think you can go wrong here. I'm already humming, "I Just Can't Wait to Be King!" 

    The package has two tiers. Both tiers include a three-course gourmet meal from Tiffins Restaurant with your choice of beverage (including alcoholic options) and priority seating at the Broadway-caliber Festival of the Lion King. However, Guests who book a Tier 1 Dining Package also receive a specially guided safari tour in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Although it's a little more expensive, this would be my pick (just keep in mind that if you plan to use the Disney Dining Plan, you'll have to go with Tier 2, and it will be two dining credits). 

    I spoke with a Cast Member at Disney Dining today, and she said that currently the only Festival of the Lion King show times associated with the package are at 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM, and 6:00 PM. While you are able to book online through the Walt Disney World website, I would recommend calling Disney Dining at (407) 939-3463 instead. They will be able to help you choose the best show time that suits your needs. 

    I hope you enjoy your meal at Tiffins, Shelby, where you'll get your choice of an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert. My personal favorites are the Spiced Chickpea Falafel, the Surf and Turf, and the Tiffins Trio. I'm getting as hungry as a "Lion King" just thinking about it!
