Hi Aimee! I’m so happy to see you back here at
planDisney with another planning question. Thanks for stopping by!
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is a fabulous place to stay.
The Stormalong Bay pool has to be one of the most incredible pools on property! When it comes to your resort room, a Cast Member informed me that all standard rooms, no matter the view, will include a standard sized balcony. This would give you enough room for two chairs and a small table.
If you would like some more room to stretch out and enjoy the view outdoors, you can always request the Captain’s Deck Suite by calling (407) 934-7639 or (407) 560-2428. This two-bedroom suite will sleep up to six adults and will include that large balcony you are looking for. But it’s important to note that you must call to reserve it, because it is considered to be one of the resort’s presidential suites and would not be available on the web page to be booked online.
During your next visit, you will have a convenient new way to get around. The
Disney Skyliner is a hop, skip and jump away from your resort! It gives you such a fun, bird’s eye view while you make your way to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The walk on the boardwalk from your resort to
EPCOT’s international gateway, is also just lovely.
Aimee, did you know that there are a few new steps you need to take before you visit a Walt Disney World Resort theme park? After purchasing your
theme park tickets, you will need to make a
Disney Park Pass Reservation for each person in your travel party. You can always check the
availability calendar in advance to make sure your desired dates are available. After that, reserve away!
