ChEARs Nancy!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are going to love your stay at
Disney’s Old Key West Resort! The Villas are some of the most spacious on property, and I adore the overall vibe of the Resort. When we moved to Florida a few yEARs ago, we had a bit of a “stitch” in our housing plans. Enter Disney’s Old Key West Resort and their gorgeous Villas to the rescue! We ended up staying a bit over a week in relaxed, Southern comfort. (Thank goodness for
Disney Vacation Club membership!)
Your
Deluxe Studio Villa comes with accommodations to sleep four adults, and then you can have the baby because they are under three. Unfortunately, you may not be able to have
a rollaway bed as this might exceed the max bed space capacity in the room. (Side note - as a rule, you can request rollaway beds in the Resort Hotel rooms, but they are not usually available in the Disney Vacation Club Villas as you have so many bed options!) You can request
a crib or pack 'n play or toddler rails for your it-bit, but if you don’t think they would be comfortable, consider a toddler bed rental from
an outside vendor. We’ve rented inflatable toddler beds from Kingdom Strollers many times, and have always been very happy with the results. They’ve even included Disney-themed bedding, to the delight of
my kiddos!
Nancy, during your stay, make sure to take advantage of your proximity to
Disney Springs! A leisurely boat ride takes you to all the fun and excitement it has to offer.
World of Disney and the LEGO store are two of our favorite shopping destinations, and we love the
Food Trucks for quick, delicious food! I hope your vacation is practically perfect in every way!
