    I would like to request a park map to have ahead of time, is there anyway I can get the park maps? (via mail)?

    Great question!  And the answer is yes, you can get some very nice park maps in advance of your trip.

    From the Disney World home page you can click on the 'My Disney Vacation' tab which includes lots of great trip-planning tools.  One of those tools is an interactive, customizable map.  Here is a link directly to the maps page:  http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/myVacation/customizedMaps/index?id=CustomizedMapsSampleMapsPage

    You can mark your favorite rides and attractions to help you plan your family's visit.  These maps are a very nice quality, and will be mailed to you in 2-4 weeks.  You can also create a customized map and print it at home if you'd like instant gratification.

    Because these maps were so nice we saved ours to go in a vacation scrapbook (if I ever get the time to make it!)
