How do I request a handicapped/limited mobility room for our upcoming stay at Disney World.

    Happy New Year, Susan!

I'm absolutely delighted to welcome you to planDisney! Your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth is almost here...your countdown is almost over! Before you know it, you'll be strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. with a Mickey-shaped treat in hand, taking in that unforgettable first glimpse of Cinderella Castle. All the planning, dreaming, and anticipation are about to turn into magical memories. You must be so excited!

When booking a Disney Resort, you'll see an option to select an accessible room during the reservation process. Checking that box will filter your search results to show only accessible room options, and there are several different types depending on your specific needs.

Since your trip is coming up so soon, it's possible your room has already been secured. If you've already reserved an accessible room, you should be all set. However, if your original reservation was for a standard room, I recommend reaching out directly to the Cast Members at Tickets and Hotel Reservations. They'll be able to check current availability and walk you through any options that may still be available to you.

I'd also suggest taking a look at the Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities section on the official Walt Disney World website. It's an excellent resource that outlines attraction accommodations, transportation accessibility, and many other helpful details to make your visit as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Susan, I hope you have a wonderful trip. You'll be arriving just in time for the kickoff of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, which is such a fun and colorful event. I hope you're able to spend some time exploring it. Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney...we're always happy to help!

    Magical Wishes,

    Kami
