Can you request a microwave due to a kid medical need.

    Jasmine,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

Yes, you can request a microwave be placed in your Disney Resort Hotel room.

What you want to do is call your resort prior to your visit and make the request. They cannot promise to get you one in your room, since they only have a limited number available to loan out. But the earlier you get your request in, the greater chance that you will get what you need. On a recent family trip, we needed one for a medical purpose as well. We did not have to provide any medical proof of need, and we had no problem. Shortly after arrival, they installed it in our room while we were already enjoying our first day in a theme park. So convenient!

To find a resort phone number simply visit their main web page and you will see that number on the right, under the small map and resort address. For instance, at the Disney's Yacht Club Resort page you will see that it is (407) 934-7000.

    BONUS TIP
Even if you do not get a microwave installed in your room, most resort food courts have microwaves that guests can easily access.

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.
