can you still request a microwave in any of the Disney hotels?

    Ana,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

Yes, you can still request a microwave be placed in your Disney Resort Hotel room.

What you want to do is call your resort prior to your visit and make the request. They cannot promise to get you one in your room, since they only have a limited number available to loan out. But the earlier you get your request in, the greater chance that you will get you what you need. On a recent trip we needed one for a medical purpose. We had no problem. Shortly after arrival, they installed it in our room while we were already enjoying our first day in a theme park. So convenient!

    BONUS TIP #1
There are some rooms that come with a microwave as a standard feature. Consider the Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation resort, or so many of the Disney Vacation Club options that have accommodations with features that range from an efficient kitchenette all the way up to a full kitchen!

    BONUS TIP #2
Even if you do not get a microwave installed in your room, most resort food courts have microwaves that guests can easily access.

Please feel free to send me any follow-up questions directly.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
