    How do we request adjoining rooms at Port Orleans- Riverside? My husband and I will have a separate reservation from my sister and her husband. Also, how do we indicate this when making dining reservations?

    Hi Jodie!

    I love traveling with extended family to Walt Disney World.  In fact I have a trip coming up in November with my in-laws and I can not wait.   It's so much fun to experience the magic with those you love.  

    In order to request connecting doors, you will need to call Disney reservations at (407) 939-1936. Please have both confirmation numbers handy and the Cast Member who helps you can add the request to your reservations.   Please note that these are only requests and connecting doors can not be guaranteed but Disney will do their best to accommodate your wishes.

    As for dining reservations if you would all like to sit together you will need to make your reservations for your entire party.  For example if it is just you and your husband along with your sister and her husband make your reservations for 4, not 2 parties of 2.  I recently visited with a large group and we had a reservation for 4 and a reservation for 6 at a Disney Dining location at the same time.  The restaurant  was not able to seat us all together as they did not have a table large enough.  I would not want that to happen to you. Don't worry the server at your meals will be able to provide separate checks to each group.   So you don't have to have one bill per table.
