Ahoy, Jodi!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! One of my favorite Disney Cruise Line tips is to arrive the day prior to embarkation, so I'm glad to hEAR you'll be staying in Cocoa Beach the night before you set sail. It will make your day of departure smooth sailing because you'll be right around the corner from the port. We've stayed in Cocoa Beach many times, and we enjoy the convenience and ease of getting over to the Disney Cruise Line terminal in no time!
Disney Cruise Line ground transportation offers one-way and round trip vouchers for purchase to and from the cruise terminal to the Orlando Airport and the Walt Disney World Resort. Currently a round trip voucher is $35.00 per person, but pricing is always subject to change. You can add one-way vouchers up to three days prior to your departure by calling (800) 951-3532. By purchasing ground transportation, you'll enjoy an easy disembarkation and love the comfortable and entertaining ride to the airport. Motor coach buses run continuously to the Orlando Airport beginning around 7:30 a.m. or when the ship is cleared.
A perk to purchasing Disney Cruise Line ground transportation is that
some airlines allow you to check-in onboard. If your airline participates, your luggage will be delivered directly to the airport and you'll receive your boarding passes on the ship! Doesn't that sound great? When you call to purchase your one-way vouchers, you can inquire about your particular carrier.
Jodi, we are so happy you sailed by with your transportation question and hope you'll visit us again if we can assist you further.
Have a magical day!
Nancy
