Hello Erin!
Thanks for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question! Without a doubt, strollers can be an essential part of a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation with young children! Many children are definitely not used to walking many long steps each day around the Parks, and a quick midday stroller nap might come in very handy also!
The good news is that yes, once you pay that day for your stroller rental,
you can return the stroller at any stroller rental location, retain your receipt, and pick up another stroller later on (again, be sure to keep that receipt with you in order to replace the stroller!). The only issue that would arise is if there are no available strollers to rent when you return from your dinner reservation.
Another idea to consider would be to leave your rental stroller in a stroller parking area at the
Magic Kingdom and then return to it after your reservation.
I suggest that you also bring a brightly colored bandana or ribbon to tie on the handle so that you can easily find your stroller when you return to it! The Disney rental strollers look exactly alike, of course, so it can be an adventure to find yours again!
Enjoy your trip, and enjoy
Ohana! It's a wonderful (and delicious) experience!
