Hiya, J Robert, and welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! Can you believe it? Your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth is just two more sleeps away! You must be so excited knowing that in just a couple of days, you'll be right in the middle of all that Disney magic, surrounded by the sights, sounds, and all the pixie dust! Let's go ahead and get your question answered so you can get back to the fun part...getting everything ready for your magical adventure!
Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) are
available to rent at all four Walt Disney World theme parks, both water parks, and Disney Springs. If you're looking for a scooter rental for the length of your stay, you also have the option to rent from ScooterBug or another third-party provider.
ScooterBug is the Disney Featured Provider, and one of the best parts about using them is the convenience. Because you're staying at
Wilderness Lodge, you won't need to be present when your scooter is delivered or picked up. ScooterBug coordinates directly with Disney Resort Cast Members, so
Bell Services takes care of everything. I recently arranged a rental through them for my mom, and it was such a relief not having to worry about being there for drop-off or return. The whole process was incredibly easy and stress-free!
Once you've picked up your scooter, you'll be all set to explore! Getting around Walt Disney World Resort with a scooter is a breeze. Nearly all of the
transportation options, including the monorail, buses, water taxis, and even the Disney Skyliner, are designed to accommodate scooters.
Be sure to take a look at the
Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities section in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. It's a handy resource filled with helpful tips and insights to make getting around Walt Disney World Resort even easier.
Alright, J Robert...bibbidi bobbidi back to packing you go! Be sure to give Mickey and Minnie a big hello from me. And if any more questions come up, don't hesitate to stop by and visit us again at planDisney!
Magic Awaits,
