I would like to rent a hall or a large capacity room for my daughter's sweet 16 (late Quinceanera). We were unable to do a 15th for her because she lost her brother, my son and all money saved went to unexpected funeral expenses.

    Welcome to planDisney, Cindy!

Let me start by offering my sincere condolences on the loss of your son. I can only imagine how your heart must be hurting and hope that you find comfort in those cherished memories of all the moments you shared with him that you hold so dear.

I imagine your daughter has been brokenhearted as well, so I’m glad to hear you plan on celebrating her Sweet 16/delayed Quinceañera at the Disneyland Resort. It sounds like the perfect way to find joy in the midst of your grief. The good news is Disneyland Resort does indeed offer Quinceañera celebration packages (subject to availability). For more information, please call (714) 520-7072 to speak to a friendly Cast Member or, if you prefer, you can send an email online.

Be sure to stop by City Hall in Disneyland Park or the Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park to pick up complimentary celebration buttons for everyone to wear while you’re in the theme parks once you arrive. Cast Members and characters who see that it’s your daughter's birthday will often try to make her special day even more memorable.

Take care of yourself, Cindy, and let us know if we can be of further assistance here at planDisney.

    Until we meet again,
