Hello, Glenn!
Thanks for visiting planDisney with your question today. I'm happy to help!
Yes, you'll be glad to know that
guests can rent wheelchairs and ECVs across Walt Disney World Resort. At
Magic Kingdom Park, this will be available just inside the tapstiles to your right when facing the train station (near the lockers). Keep in mind that quantities may be limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Rentals are priced for daily use and must be returned to the pickup location before exiting the park. However, your one-day rental will be transferable across other locations if you'll be park hopping and need a new scooter at your next stop. I recommend reviewing the
current ECV rental pricing and policies before your visit.
You should also note additional
services available for guests with mobility needs, including disability parking (available with a valid permit on a first-come, first-served basis), as well as locations for
parade and fireworks viewing for guests with disabilities. You'll also want to review which
attractions allow you to remain in your scooter and which will require a transfer at each park.
I hope that helps, Glenn! If we can answer more questions ahead of your visit, please don't hesitate to come back and let us know.
Magic and memories,
Amy
