If I rent an ECV from scooterbug, do I have to be a guest at a Disney Resort hotel to have it delivered there? Or can I just be there to pick it up?

Greetings, Mandy, and welcome to planDisney. You'll be arriving soon for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so let's look at how you can cruise around the theme parks with ease!

I see you've discovered ScooterBug, the Disney Featured Provider of Electronic Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs). This off-site company offers a variety of mobility devices and delivers to many area hotels and other locations, but you must be a guest at a Disney Resort Hotel to pick up your ECV there.

I chatted with a helpful Cast Member who said one option is to meet the ScooterBug delivery person at Disney Springs. They can drop off at the Sundries rental location next to the Town Center bus loop or the Mobility window near the Welcome Center. I like this idea because you can enjoy some time at Disney Springs! My tip is to grab a nearly half-pound cookie at Gideon's Bakehouse. The Peanut Butter Crunch cookie is my favorite.

You can also call ScooterBug in Orlando directly to ask if they deliver to your hotel or rental, but one of the easiest options is to rent an ECV at any theme park entrance. You can read more about onsite rentals and current pricing here to help make your decision. You'll be tooling around with ease in no time!

Mandy, I hope you find a practically perfect vehicle for your upcoming visit. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
