    Can we rent a car close to Disney at the end of our on site stay - but return it to Orlando Intl airport when we are due to fly back to Toronto ? We would hope to get to Disney from the airport on the Disney shuttle at the start of our vacation. thanks.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Yes, you can absolutely do this, and I have done the very same thing for one of our visits.

    There are several places in and around the Walt Disney World Resort that you can rent a car. There is actually a Disney Car Care Center located right near the Magic Kingdom. The car rental desk there offers both National Car Rental and Alamo Rent-A-Car, and they even offer a complimentary shuttle to and from your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel!

    These same two companies also have a rental desk at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. And a few hotels in the Disney Springs area have rental desks for other companies as well. When we did this, I rented a car from the desk at the Dolphin Hotel, and we took a few days to visit Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. After our visit to the coast, we returned our car to Orlando International Airport before our flight home. If you are a Costco Member, I find they have the best prices on rental cars so you may want to check them out when searching for a good rate.
