Welcome aboard, Margarita! It's almost time for your family to set sail with Captain Mickey and his crew! One month from now, you'll be heading out to sea for a magical vacation onboard and in the beautiful ports of call!
There are some really fun Port Adventures available in both Castaway Cay and
Nassau, but I understand that you might just want to disembark the ship on your own to explore. Disney does not offer bike rentals in Nassau, and honestly, I wouldn't recommend that in Nassau, as it's not exactly the most bike friendly for young families there just outside the port area. There is a street full of shops you may want to explore, so bringing strollers with you for your little ones would be the best option there. When we don't book an adventure in Nassau, we tend to head off the ship early to shop for a couple hours, then head back onboard early to enjoy the pool deck when it's less crowded, so you may consider that too!
Save the bike rentals for Disney's beautiful private island, Castaway Cay! It is such a lovely island, and has so much to offer. You could actually spend the whole day there exploring, participating in the included activities, enjoying the lunch at one of three delicious BBQ spots (included in the cost of your cruise!) and playing at the beach. But, Disney does offer some great adventures there including
bike rentals. They have many different bikes, even some with child seats, and some little kids' bikes with training wheels. We've found that there are always plenty of bikes, so walking up to make a spur of the moment rental hasn't been a problem for us.
I hope that helps as you get ready to enjoy your magical cruise, Margarita! Happy adventures!
