    In '07, they renovated the Haunted Mansion. What kind of things did they do to it?

    The Haunted Mansion attraction is in great shape now after the 2007 rehab. Much of the work that was done had to do with the sound system and audio tracks -- better quality and spookier effects. Additionally there is a new endless staircase, a new floating Madame Leota head, and the clarification of a story line through the use of a series of evolving portraits. (Look how the number of pearl necklaces changes in the portraits as each of Constance's husbands dies.)

    I have to say that the Wikipedia entry for the Haunted Mansion is truly spectacular. It gives a detailed history of the ride and explains all the differences between the versions at each of the Disney theme parks. If you're interested in the Haunted Mansion, this is definitely worth checking out.
