Just renewed two passes that expire 3/31/2024 for family members. How long will it take before I can see the date change on when those renewed passed expiration dates change?

Hello there, David, and welcome to planDisney!

How nice to see some fellow Magic Key holders here and I'd be happy to answer your question for you! I hope that you and your family have been enjoying being able to visit the Disneyland Resort with your Magic Keys this past year. I've been a part of the program ever since it began and have been very happy with it.

I'm glad that you were able to renew your family's Passes. When you renew a Pass, the old Pass actually still remains attached to the accountholder's file. You will see a brand new Magic Key Pass that will begin right when the old one expires, so there will be a period of overlap where you'll see two Magic Key Passes in your account. The old one will remain there until its expiration date and will be available for you to use until that time, so you actually won't see the date change at all.

I hope that helped to explain what you see in your account after renewing your Magic Key Pass, David. Will you be visiting the Disneyland Resort anytime soon? There's never a dull moment and I love how they released the 2024 Calendar of Events to help us plan our visits this year! If you have any more questions for us, please come by again. You're always welcome at planDisney!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
