Welcome back, Stephanie!
Thanks for sending me a follow-up question - sorry for misunderstanding your situation when I answered your previous question!
To be honest, Stephanie,
my answer is still pretty much the same. That is, this should be possible, and I would encourage you to process the renewal as soon as you are able to so it all gets worked out with plenty of time to spare - just in case you need to tweak other plans for that December 2023 trip.
There are a couple of caveats that I will share. If you look at the Terms and Conditions of Theme Park Tickets and Annual Passes, you will undoubtedly find some language about things being subject to change. I just want to highlight that this isn't just some legal Dumbo jumbo - we've seen significant changes to the Annual Pass program as well as Theme Park Tickets in recent years. A lot can happen in a year, so just know that we will be subject to any of those changes, which could include limitations on tickets being transferred to Annual Passes.
Likewise, we're likely to see updates to the
Park Pass Reservation system in the future. The reservations you make now for that future trip could be impacted if you use the value of the associated unused Theme Park Ticket for your Annual Pass renewal.
So, long story short, as we look further into the future, my crystal ball gets a bit cloudier. Keep an eye on your email and the
Disney Parks Blog for any updates throughout the year and you can re-strategize from there!
Let me know if I can help with anything else!
