I renewed my DVC annual pass over the phone. I see the renewal certificate in the My Disney Experience Site. Do I still need to go to guest relations or can I just start using my magic band to enter the parks?

    Hello Margaret!

We love the Disney Vacation Club Member discount on Walt Disney World Annual Passes. It’s my favorite perk of Membership!

Whenever you have a newly purchased Annual Pass, you must always go to the Guest Relations Window outside a theme park or at Disney Springs to have the passes activated. Even though yours is a renewal, to be safe, I would still recommend you visit Guest Relations. There have been very recent changes to the Walt Disney World Annual Passes. There are now more types of passes and some that even include PhotoPass Photos! To avoid any difficulties and to make sure you know which type of Annual Pass you have, I think a visit to the friendly Guest Relations Cast Members would be a good idea.

I too will be visiting this week and will also be stopping by Guest Relations for Annual Pass assistance. If you see me in the parks, be sure to say “hello!”

Have a magical and unforgettable Disney vacation, Margaret!
