Hello Robin!
Your
Walt Disney World Annual Pass is your ticket to an entire year of magic at the
Walt Disney World Resort! Even though we live in Indiana, I love telling people I am an Annual Passholder. If my family will be making more than one visit during the year, the Annual Pass is a good value for our family. And don’t forget to always ask if there is an
Annual Pass discount! From dining to merchandise to special events, there is so much to love about being a Passholder!
When you renew a Walt Disney World Annual Pass, your new Annual Pass will begin it’s one year from the day the original pass expired. So if your expiration date was, for example, December 1, and you renew on November 15, your new Annual Pass will begin on December 1, even if you don’t visit for another few months. This is because it isn’t a new Annual Pass, but a renewal that comes with a discount. If you didn’t want the Annual Pass to begin on that expiration date, but you wanted it to start later on your first visit date, in that case, you would need to forgo the renewal discount and purchase an Annual Pass at the new pass price.
I hope this explains how it works. Please let me know if you have any additional questions about your Walt Disney World Annual Pass, Robin!
Have a Magical Day!
