Hi there, Angelique!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question! I'm always happy to see another Magic Key Holder here. I've had my
Magic Key Pass since the program's inception and I couldn't be any happier! I've used it several times this year to visit the Parks to the point where it's probably paid for itself.
I recently went through the renewal process myself so I'd be happy to share my experience. I also contacted a Cast Member to verify that my information is still current. You will be eligible to
renew your Magic Key within 30 days before its expiration date. Please don't let your Pass expire because late renewals are not allowed! When you renew, you are entering another year-long payment contract with Disney and you will be charged soon after. In my renewal confirmation email from Disney, it stated that the "first payment will be charged later today or shortly thereafter." My monthly payment date then changed to the new date. Your old Magic Key will still be valid until it expires and the new one will activate immediately afterwards, so you won't be losing any time.
I hope you do make it to the Parks soon because there are so many exciting things happening! Did you see that
Tiana's Palace is set to open soon and the Disney Parks Blog shared the
menu? That House-filled Beignet looks absolutely delicious! And anytime they add a cold brew, I need to give it a try, so I'm really looking forward to that Joffrey’s Coffee Chicory Cold Brew!
I hope that this was helpful for you, Angelique, and best wishes on another year of Magic at the Disneyland Resort! If there is anything else we can do for you, please reach out again anytime. You're always welcome at planDisney!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
