Andrew from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

If I renew my annual pass within 30 days of its expiration does the new pass start on that day or revert back to the original pass date.

    Hello Andrew!

Thanks for sending us your Annual Pass question. At planDisney, we're delighted to assist you with every step of the magical vacation planning process. Let's talk about renewing your pass so you can enjoy another year of memorable Walt Disney World visits.

You can renew your Annual Pass up to 60 days before and 30 days after its expiration date. Regardless of when you renew, your anniversary date remains the same. My Sorcerer's Pass expires on October 17, 2024, so I can renew it anytime between August 18 and November 16. Whether I renew in August or November, next year's pass will expire on October 17, 2025.

I hope this is helpful and you've had an incredible year with your Annual Pass. Did you take advantage of discounts on special events, recreation activities, shopping, and dining? As a passholder, whether I'm enjoying my favorite restaurant or planning an activity in the Enchanting Extras Collection, I always check with a Cast Member about current discounts. Last year, I purchased tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at a special passholder rate. What a boo-tiful perk!

2024 will be an exciting year for the Disney Parks, so I'm thrilled you'll be there for the fun. Be sure to follow us on Instagram to keep up with news and attraction debuts. My family can't wait to float down the bayou with Tiana in Magic Kingdom Park and sing along to our favorite Encanto songs in EPCOT. Thanks again for stopping by with your question. We look forward to welcoming you "home" soon!
