Hi Denise,
As you're smack in the middle of your magical year, I hope that you're LOVING all of the privileges of being an
Annual Passholder! Not only are you able to visit "The Most Magical Place on Earth" whenever you'd like, but you have so many wonderful
perks and
discounts to enjoy! My very
favorite perk is being able to view, share, and download all of our
Disney PhotoPass photos all year long. I hope you're taking advantage of that and preserving all of your memories for years to come!
When you
renew your annual pass and take advantage of the lower renewal rates (available between 60 days prior to expiration and 30 days after), you'll simply be extending your expiration date out one more year, so your pass would expire in December of 2020. If you're not wanting to use it again until December of 2020, it may be better for you to wait and purchase a new annual pass later on and activate it when you arrive for all of the
holiday festivities. While you won't receive the lower renewal rate, it may be more cost-effective if you'll be able to use it more in 2021. I'd definitely encourage you to price out the difference in
tickets and
annual passes to see what would be best for your exact situation!
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Denise, and please feel free to visit again with any other questions! I hope that you enjoy a truly magical year celebrating Disney traditions and discovering new favorites with your annual pass!
Missy
