Hi there, Patrick!
Welcome to planDisney. We love discussing all things related to your Disney vacation with you!
I'm sorry to hear someone in your party won't be able to visit Walt Disney World Resort with you; however, I hope they find comfort in knowing the magic is always here and waiting when they're ready to visit!
Patrick, you're able to
remove a Guest from your Family & Friends list if you'd like, as long as they don't have active plans.
However, if you booked a Walt Disney World Resort
Vacation Package with a
Disney Resort hotel stay and
theme park tickets, changing your party is possible. Vacation Packages can be canceled or modified up to 30 days from your arrival date for a full refund. If you modify it from 2 to 29 days, there is a $200 cancelation fee, though prices are subject to change.
I'm happy to guide you through the
Walt Disney World Resort website so you can remove the Guest from your reservation. Please hover over the
My Disney Experience logo in the screen's top right corner. Under the drop-down menu, select
My Plans. Next, locate your reservation and select
Change Reservation next to it. You'll be able to choose the
Change option next to the
Travel Party, which should allow you to decrease the party size. If you have any problems with this, please feel free to call and speak to a friendly Cast Member at
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations.
If you did not book a vacation package and want to remove the Guest from your Family & Friends list, please know theme park tickets are non-refundable; however, as long as the tickets are unused, you may assign them to someone else. Also, if the ticket expires, the amount paid for an unused, expired ticket may be applied towards purchasing a new ticket at the current price as long as the new ticket price is equal to or greater than the amount initially paid.
If you do not have a Disney Resort hotel stay and need help removing the Guest, please contact the
My Disney Experience line, and a Cast Member will be happy to look into your account to help you.
Wishing you an enchanting visit, Patrick!
Aena
