Hi Amy,
Thanks for bringing us your question today! I'm happy to help get to the bottom of things so you're tech-ready for your next visit.
If you are looking to remove someone from your
Family & Friends list using the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, you should be able to do so with a few steps. First, navigate to the feature menu (≡) at the bottom right of your app and scroll down to the "Account" section. Select "Profile" then toggle over to "Family & Friends List."
Locate the person you'd like to remove from your list and click their name. You'll have the option to completely remove them or just edit the plans they can see. I am connected with several panelists and I have everyone set to "Only Plans We Share" so we aren't all inundated with each other's upcoming vacation details. You'll need to adjust this for each person on your list, except for any
managed profiles on your account (minors or anyone you manage plans for who does not have their own My Disney Experience Account).
You'll also have the option to "Share Your List" of Family & Friends with connected guests at the very bottom of this page. This is helpful when traveling with a large group so everyone can easily connect with the members of your travel party. If you'd like to keep your list private select the second button in this section. You may still be able to see names and profiles connected to those on your Family & Friends list when you go to add a new guest. You can ask that person to make their list private or simply remove them from your list altogether. You can easily reconnect with someone by
scanning their linking code or by
sending them a new email invitation if you change your mind.
Amy, I hope this was helpful. If I've misunderstood your question or you need further technical assistance feel free to
contact a Cast Member by phone. They'll be happy to walk you through the process and can assist with troubleshooting if you experience any issues.
In the meantime, please come back and see us again with more planning questions.
Magic and memories,
Amy
