Heigh-Ho Elizabeth,
Up until the introduction of the new
Disney Magic Mobile service, I was a huge fan of the Disney MagicBand 2 feature, which allows Guests with the right tool to remove the puck. Guests could purchase accessories that transformed the puck into a keychain or a slider to be worn on your watch, leaving your wrist freed up. And yes no matter how you chose to sport the puck, it is waterproof.
But now Guests, with eligible iPhones, Apple Watch or Google Pay-enabled Android phones, have the option to use the Disney MagicMobile service. Through your
My Disney Experience Mobile app Guests can create and design a digital pass. This digital pass can be stored in your wallet. If you have the Apple feature Express Mode turned on all you have to do is raise your wrist to gain access to your Walt Disney World ticket. With your mobile pass Guests can access their Walt Disney World tickets, share tickets with other Guests with similar devices as you would any other digital pass, enter into queues such as Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and scan and connect to all your Disney PhotoPass opportunities. Disney MagicMobile is still evolving and eventually will allow Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort to have charging privileges and room entry access, stay up to date when this goes live by following the Disney Parks Blog.
