    I remember there being "photo spots" where you can get pictures like someone holding the epcot sphere. Are these locations marked on any maps of the parks?

    Yes, the theme park maps have "Kodak Picture Spots" marked on them. These are locations that are determined to be the best places to get your picture taken throughout the four parks, often with something iconic in the background, like Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom or Spaceship Earth in Epcot.
