    Hi Tina,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You and your granddaughter must love the holidays like me. As soon as Halloween ends, Cast Members will begin working their magic to dress up the theme parks for the holidays. The entire process is quite impressive. I have often dreamed of being at Walt Disney World during the changeover from Halloween to Christmas. What a magical time of year!

One of my favorite videos on the official YouTube channel for Disney Parks is "Time-Lapse Video: Magic Kingdom Park Decorated for the Holidays," with a behind-the-magic look at how Magic Kingdom Park transitions from Halloween to Christmas. The remarkable transformation is done virtually overnight by a very talented, and incredibly organized, group of Cast Members. The first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party of this year is on November 7. Guests should be able to see many holiday decorations going up the first few days of November.

Please let me know if I can answer any other questions as you plan your visit to Walt Disney World.

    Have a magical day!
