When remaining at a park for extra evening hours, how do the cast members know that we are staying in a Disney hotel? Is there something that we have to do?

    Hi Josee,

We love taking advantage of Walt Disney World's Extra Magic Hours. We find that this is a great time to get some of the more popular rides done with usually a much smaller wait time.

If you are arriving for the morning magic hours, they will check your ticket at the front turnstile. If your park ticket is on your Key to the Kingdom card from your hotel they will see you are staying on property but if you are using an annual pass you will need to show your resort key.

If you are staying for the evening extra magic hours, you will find locations throughout the park where there are signs indicating a wristband distribution. You will need to present your room key, showing you are staying on property, at which time they will give you a wristband. That's it-now you are all set and ready for more fun and magic.

    Enjoy,
    Margaret
