Have they released tickets for the DVC Christmas Eve holiday dinner? If not, when will those be available to purchase? I assume we would have to go to the DVC site for purchasing. Thank you!

    Hi Greg!

Welcome Home and thanks for stopping by to visit the Disney Vacation Club Moms! As of this morning, tickets for the Disney Vacation Club Member Holiday Parties have not gone on sale, and there has been no announcement yet of when that will happen. In the past several years it has been right around the middle of October, which is now! While I don’t have any insider info for you, I think you are doing the right thing by watching for it this week or next. I did also chat with Member Services to see if I missed any info, and they did not have a date for me either. In 2017, tickets went on sale on October 18th, and in 2018 it was approximately October 25th.

In the past, the party has been held at the Fantasia Ballroom at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and featured a festive holiday buffet, a photo opportunity with some favorite characters as well as games and crafts for the kids. I have yet to attend the Christmas or New Year’s Eve Parties, but we had a blast at the Independence Day celebration. These Member Exclusive Events are a wonderful way to feel that you are celebrating the holiday with something special, but it also allows you to escape the hustle and bustle of the theme parks to spend a memorable evening with your family.

I’m a labor and delivery nurse in my real life, and we tend to be pretty superstitious in general. Never say it’s been a “quiet” night in the nurse's station or it is bound to get busy! Now that I have written to tell you the tickets are not on sale, maybe that will hasten the announcement for you! Here’s to hoping for an announcement very soon and that you are able to secure your tickets.

Wishing you Happy Holidays and Membership Magic!
