Hi Alana, I hEAR you're wondering about the 2019 dates for
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!
Fall is one of my favorite times of the year to visit, and there's nothing better than trick-or-treating with Mickey and his friends in Magic Kingdom Park! Typically Disney releases the party dates sometime in the Spring, and when I spoke to a representative on the phone today, she speculated that it would be in April or May. Last year, Walt Disney World had it's earliest Halloween party ever on August 17, so I'd be willing to bet they will follow the same pattern this year. I see that you are planning to visit in August, so you might want to take a peek at last year's dates since Disney often sticks to a similar schedule every year.
Hopefully, you can fit it into your trip, because the fabulous Boo-to-You Halloween Parade is the best Walt Disney World parade in my opinion (quick tip: stake out a spot early and watch it in Frontierland). The Headless Horseman and the dancing Grave Diggers, are not to be missed, and of course, there's the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Show to end the night. Check out the
Disney Parks Blog where they have a fun video detailing how they get Magic Kingdom Park ready for Halloween. It will definitely get you in the "spirit!"
Happy planning, Alana, and visit us hEAR on the Moms Panel again soon!
